SMS Configuration

Configure SMS gateway providers to send OTPs, alerts, reminders, and other SMS notifications from InstiKit.

General 4 min read

The SMS Configuration page allows you to configure an SMS gateway for sending text messages from InstiKit.

SMS notifications are commonly used for attendance alerts, fee reminders, OTP verification, examination updates, admission notifications, and other important communication.

Important

SMS configuration is required only if your organization intends to send SMS notifications.

After configuring your SMS gateway, use the Send Test SMS button to verify that the gateway is working correctly before using it in production.
