Built for CBSE, ICSE and state board schools
Classes, sections, terms, exams and terminology are configurable, so CBSE, ICSE and state board schools can each follow their own structure. Schools that run more than one branch can manage them from one InstiKit installation.
Online fee collection with Indian payment gateways
Parents pay fees from the parent portal or the InstiKit mobile app through the school's Razorpay, CCAvenue, BillDesk, PayU or ICICI Orange account. Every successful payment updates the student's fee record and generates a receipt, and InstiKit can check payment status with CCAvenue and BillDesk when a parent reports a problem. Fee structures, installments, concessions and late fees are set up per class.
SMS and WhatsApp alerts for parents
Absence alerts, fee reminders, payment confirmations and notices reach parents through the mobile app, email, SMS and WhatsApp. Indian schools typically use MSG91 for SMS and WhatsApp, with sender IDs and templates registered on DLT.
Exams, marksheets and certificates
Teachers enter marks for each exam and InstiKit produces marksheets. Transfer, bonafide and character certificates can be issued from student records; schools that are not using InstiKit yet can try our free certificate and letter formats, including a TC format in Hindi.
For schools planning competency assessment and progress reporting, our NEP 2020 guide for Indian schools explains Holistic Progress Cards and gives teachers a practical checklist.
Attendance and staff
Teachers mark class attendance in seconds, staff can use QR code attendance or biometric devices, and staff attendance connects with leave and payroll.
Mobile apps for teachers and parents
The InstiKit apps for Android and iOS give teachers attendance, diary, assignments and marks, and give parents fees, timetable, results and notices in one place.
