The Employee Dashboard provides teachers and employees with quick access to their daily work. It combines announcements, attendance, calendar events, teaching schedules, and celebrations into a single interface, allowing employees to stay informed and organized throughout the day.

Employee Dashboard

Overview

The Employee Dashboard is displayed after an employee logs in. The available widgets depend on the employee's role, assigned permissions, and enabled modules.

The dashboard helps employees quickly answer questions such as:

  • What is my teaching schedule today?
  • Have I marked my attendance?
  • Are there any new notices or announcements?
  • What events are scheduled this month?
  • Which celebrations are happening today?
  • What classes should I prepare for next?

Clock In

If Employee Attendance is enabled, the Clock In button allows employees to record their daily attendance directly from the dashboard.

Depending on your institution's attendance configuration, employees may be able to:

  • Clock In
  • Clock Out
  • View attendance status
  • Record working hours

The availability of this feature depends on the configured attendance policy and assigned permissions.

Feed

The Feed section displays information relevant to the logged in employee.

Depending on the enabled modules, it may include:

  • Notices
  • Announcements
  • School Menu
  • Internal Messages
  • Learning Materials
  • Assignments
  • Other institutional updates

The available tabs may vary depending on your institution's configuration.

Calendar

The integrated calendar provides a quick overview of academic and institutional events.

Examples include:

  • Holidays
  • Examinations
  • Meetings
  • School Events
  • Activities
  • Custom Calendar Events

Selecting a date displays the events scheduled for that day.

Teacher Timetable

The Teacher Timetable widget displays the logged in employee's teaching schedule for the selected day.

The timetable may include:

  • Period Number
  • Subject
  • Class and Section
  • Start Time
  • End Time
  • Classroom (if configured)

Teachers can switch between available dates to review upcoming schedules and prepare their lessons in advance.

If timetable printing is enabled, the Print Teacher Timetable button allows employees to generate a printable version of their schedule.

Celebration

The Celebration widget highlights important celebrations within the institution.

Depending on your school's configuration, it may include:

  • Student Birthdays
  • Employee Birthdays
  • Work Anniversaries
  • Other configured celebrations

This helps employees recognize important occasions and encourages engagement within the institution.

Dashboard Permissions

The information displayed on the Employee Dashboard depends on the employee's permissions.

For example:

  • Attendance actions require attendance permissions.
  • Teaching schedules require timetable permissions.
  • Internal messages require communication permissions.
  • Announcements and feeds depend on the enabled modules.

Employees only see the widgets and information they are authorized to access.

Dynamic Dashboard

The Employee Dashboard is dynamic.

The available widgets depend on:

  • Enabled modules
  • Employee role
  • Assigned permissions
  • Institution configuration

As additional modules are enabled, new dashboard widgets may automatically become available.
