  • 100% free
  • Editable format
  • Single or bulk
  • Print or save as PDF

What the template includes

Every line of the template can be edited, so you can match your school's own format and wording. Optional details can be left out on purpose, and nothing is filled in about a student unless you enter it.

This is a general format, not one issued or approved by any board or authority. Check any requirements that apply to your school before issuing certificates.

  • School name, address and contact details
  • Certificate number and date of issue
  • Student name, admission number, parents or guardians and date of birth
  • Date of admission, class last studied, date of leaving and reason
  • Academic status, conduct and fee dues where applicable
  • Signatory name, designation and space for signature and stamp

How it works

In single-document mode, the details you type stay in your browser and are never uploaded or saved. In bulk mode, your spreadsheet is sent to our server so its rows can be read; the file isn't stored.

  1. 1

    Add your school details

Type the school name, address and signatory into the fields. They fill the letterhead and signature block.

  2. 2

    Enter the student details

Complete the highlighted fields. Choose “Leave blank” for any optional detail that does not apply.

  3. 3

    Check, print and sign

Review the preview, click Print / Save as PDF, then sign and stamp the printed certificate.

Transfer Certificate Generator FAQ

A transfer certificate usually records the student's name, admission number, parents or guardians, date of birth, dates of admission and leaving, the class last studied, the reason for leaving, academic status, conduct and fee dues, signed by the principal or an authorised signatory.

No. It is a general, editable format. Boards and authorities may require specific fields or wording, so check their requirements and edit the template to match before issuing certificates.

Yes. Switch to Bulk documents, download the CSV headings for the template, add one student per row and upload the file. Every certificate is printed on its own page.

Details entered in single-document mode stay in your browser tab and are never uploaded or saved. In bulk mode, the spreadsheet you upload is sent to our server so its rows can be read and returned to your browser; the file is not stored. Only your template text and page settings are kept in your browser for next time.

You can edit every line of the template, including the school name, address and certification wording. The letterhead is text only; print on your school's letterhead paper if you need a printed logo.
