Built around how Nigerian schools run
InstiKit is already in use by schools in Nigeria. Classes, sections and terms are configurable, so a school can set up Primary 1 to 6, JSS 1 to 3 and SSS 1 to 3 with its own arms, and run the session in three terms. Labels and terminology can be renamed to match the words your staff and parents already use.
Collect school fees online with Paystack
Parents can pay fees from the parent portal or the InstiKit mobile app through the school's Paystack account, using the payment methods enabled on that account. Each successful payment is recorded against the student's fee installment and a receipt is generated straight away, so the bursar no longer matches bank alerts to students by hand. Payments made at the school still go into the same student fee record.
Fee structures, installments, concessions and late fees are all set up per class, so every family sees exactly what is due for the term.
Results and report sheets
Teachers enter marks for each term's tests and examinations, and InstiKit produces marksheets from those marks. Parents can follow their child's progress in the app instead of waiting for printed result sheets.
Keep parents informed
Absence alerts, fee reminders and announcements reach parents through the mobile app, email and SMS. For SMS, schools can use Twilio or connect a local provider through InstiKit's custom SMS gateway option.
For staff and management
InstiKit also covers admissions, student records, staff attendance, leave and payroll, so proprietors and principals see enrolment, collections and attendance in one place instead of separate spreadsheets.
