Schools in Cameroon
- Cameroon has an anglophone subsystem, with GCE O Level and A Level examinations run by the Cameroon GCE Board.
- The francophone subsystem leads to the BEPC, Probatoire and Baccalauréat, run by the Office du Baccalauréat.
- Many private schools are bilingual and run both subsystems.
- The school year usually runs from September to June.
How InstiKit fits
Classes and terminology. Anglophone schools use Class 1 to 6 and Form 1 to 5 with Lower and Upper Sixth; francophone schools use Sixième to Terminale. Class names, terms and labels can all be renamed to match how schools in Cameroon talk about them.
Languages. Add a French translation so staff and parents can choose English or French individually, which suits bilingual schools.
Fees and payments. InstiKit can integrate the payment gateway your schools use; talk to our team about your preferred provider.
