What the template includes

Every line of the template can be edited, so you can match your school's own format and wording. Optional details can be left out on purpose, and nothing is filled in about a student unless you enter it.

This is a general format, not one issued or approved by any board or authority. Check any requirements that apply to your school before issuing certificates.

  • School name, address and contact details
  • Certificate number and date of issue
  • Student name, admission number and parent or guardian
  • Class and section, and academic year
  • Purpose of the certificate, with editable wording
  • Signatory name, designation and space for signature and stamp

How it works

In single-document mode, the details you type stay in your browser and are never uploaded or saved. In bulk mode, your spreadsheet is sent to our server so its rows can be read; the file isn't stored.

  1. 1

    Add your school details

Type the school name, address and signatory into the fields. They fill the letterhead and signature block.

  2. 2

    Enter the student details

Complete the highlighted fields. Choose “Leave blank” for any optional detail that does not apply.

  3. 3

    Check, print and sign

Review the preview, click Print / Save as PDF, then sign and stamp the printed certificate.
